ElevenLabs has released Scribe v2, calling it the most accurate transcription model ever shipped.

It beats industry benchmarks on word error rate and is built for large-scale transcription, subtitles, and captions. There is also a Realtime version tuned for ultra-low latency and AI agents.

Scribe v2 adds features teams actually need at scale. It supports multi-language audio in one file, smart speaker labels, and word-level timestamps for perfect subtitle sync.

You can force important terms using Keyterm Prompting and auto-detect sensitive data like names, health info, or payment details with timestamps.

Apple has launched Creator Studio, a new subscription that bundles its top video and audio apps for creators at $13 per month.

The package includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, MainStage, and Freeform.

The bundle launches January 28 with a one-month free trial for everyone. Apple is positioning Creator Studio as a single, affordable way for video editors, musicians, and creators to access pro-grade tools without buying each app separately.

Anthropic has launched Cowork, a new way to use Claude like a real coworker.

Cowork plans tasks, works step by step, and updates you as it goes. It is built on the same agent system as Claude Code but designed for non-developers.

Cowork can organize files, build spreadsheets from screenshots, and draft reports from messy notes. It supports connectors, document skills, and browser access through Chrome.

You control which folders Claude can see, and it asks before major actions. Anthropic says this is an early release, with rapid updates planned, including Windows support and stronger safety controls.

Midjourney has released Niji V7, the first major update to its anime-focused model since 2024.

The new version improves prompt accuracy, visual consistency, and overall polish, making it easier to create clean, professional anime-style images.

Style references now work better, and anime-style linework looks closer to real production frames. Character reference is not supported yet, but Midjourney says a replacement is coming.

Manus has launched Meeting Minutes, a feature that turns live conversations into structured, actionable work. With one tap, users can record meetings, interviews, or solo talks.

Manus auto-transcribes the discussion, identifies speakers, and produces clear summaries with key points and assigned to-dos.

Teams can collaborate in one shared space, and recording continues even if the internet drops. The goal is simple: remove the gap between talking and shipping.

• Higgsfield AI released Cinema Studio v1.5, adding aperture-based bokeh control, DP-curated aspect ratios, and improved project management.
