OpenAI just launched Sora, a new iPhone app that lets friends turn your face into AI videos.

Record a quick “cameo,” and others can remix it into 10-second clips. You can delete or revoke them anytime.

The app is invite-only in the US and Canada for now. Each user gets four invites to share. Android isn’t supported yet.

OpenAI blocks celebrity fakes and explicit content, but calls this the “ChatGPT moment for video.” If it takes off, short AI deepfakes could become the next viral trend.

Anthropic has rolled out Claude Sonnet 4.5, now live on the Claude platform, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, with the same pricing as before.

Upgrades include a new VS Code extension, a refreshed terminal interface, and a checkpoints feature to roll back large coding tasks instantly. Paid users also get Claude’s Chrome extension plus code tools for data analysis, file creation, and visualizations.

On the API side, Claude now supports context editing and a memory tool for long-running agents.

Lovable just launched Lovable Cloud & AI, letting anyone add AI and backend features to apps with simple prompts. No setup, API keys, or billing needed.
