Google is finally letting everyone use its AI-powered video editor, Vids. Until now, only people with special Google Workspace or AI subscriptions could try it. But starting today, the basic version is open for all.
With Vids, you can quickly make video presentations using templates, stock images, music, and some AI tools.

Here’s what you can do with it:
Create storyboards with suggested scenes and music.
Pick from 12 ready-made avatars that can read your script with different voices.
Trim filler words like “uh” and “um” from your recordings automatically.
Turn images into short 8-second videos to showcase products or ideas.
