Anthropic has announced that Claude will remain completely ad-free, directly contrasting OpenAI’s plan to introduce ads in ChatGPT. Anthropic says Claude’s answers will never be influenced by advertisers, sponsored links, or product placements.

The company argues ads would conflict with giving honest advice, especially in areas like health, work, and decision-making.

To underline the message, Anthropic is releasing a Super Bowl ad that pokes fun at AI assistants interrupting users with ads.

OpenAI has released the Codex app for macOS, giving developers a dedicated desktop workspace for agentic coding.

The app lets multiple AI coding agents run in parallel, each inside its own project thread. Developers can work on features, bug fixes, and reviews at the same time without context clashes.

Codex supports Git worktrees, inline diff reviews, and reusable Skills so agents can repeat common workflows.

xAI has released Grok Imagine 1.0, its biggest update yet for AI video creation. The new version supports 10-second videos at 720p, with smoother visuals and much better quality than before.

Audio is the standout upgrade. Prompt understanding is also sharper, letting users refine videos with follow-up instructions instead of starting over.

Figma has launched Vectorize, an AI tool that turns any raster image into fully editable vectors in one click.

Drop in a photo, sketch, or screenshot and get clean, scalable vector paths without leaving Figma. You can control color output, tweak curves and anchor points, and refine everything with existing Figma tools.

Vectorize also works on hand-drawn lettering, textures, grain, noise, and brush strokes, converting them into reusable vector overlays.

Kling AI has released Kling 3.0, an all-in-one model built for native multimodal creation. The update improves character and scene consistency, so elements stay locked across shots.

Creators can now produce 15-second videos with multi-shot control, stronger realism, and tighter pacing.

Kling 3.0 also upgrades audio and images. It adds multi-character voice reference, more languages and accents, and 4K image generation with a new image series mode for cinematic visuals.

• Figma released Glass to general availability, letting designers apply glass effects to any object with non-uniform corners, splay control, and variable-driven properties.

• Framer launched the createManagedCollection API, giving plugin authors a reliable way to create and manage CMS collections across all modes.

• Webflow added new GSAP-powered Interactions, including Spline actions for 3D animation and a visual easing editor with presets.

• InVideo released AI Motion Graphics with Anthropic, enabling motion graphics generation from a single prompt.

• Higgsfield launched Vibe-Motion, an AI motion design tool that generates full motion designs from one prompt with real-time canvas controls.

• Replit introduced a LinkedIn certification that verifies real-world coding skills through interactive challenges shown on user profiles.

• v0 released Folders and Projects, adding a simpler structure for organizing builds and workspaces.

• The Wayback Machine launched a WordPress Link Fixer plugin with Automattic to automatically repair broken links and reduce link rot.
